PETERS, Armon Edsel Age 82, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly on Mon. April 6, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. & Grace B. (Davis) Peters.
He was a US Army veteran of both WWII & Korea, and he retired from GTE in 1991. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mae; children & their spouses, Susan (Bill) Marvin, Baton Rouge, LA, Deborah Jones, Springboro, Bradley (Joy) Peters & Douglas (Rita) Peters, all of Brookville; grandchildren, Jennifer Glass, Michelle Jones, Michael Marvin & Zachary Peters; brother, William B. (Charlotte) Peters, Fremont, OH; sister, Willa (Odell) Benge, London, KY and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Fri. April 10 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Interment in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be provided.
