The history of the Peters family is very much a part of the history of Lily, Kentucky. The Lily Post Office has a collection of historic photographs on display, and thanks to Randy McIntosh I'm able to post them on this web site. Randy traveled to Lily and scanned all of the historic photographs on display at the Post Office and emailed them to me.

My father graduated from Lily High School about 1941 or 42. He lived behind the old Sanders Court from about 1935-40 41. Played basketball there as well. Henry C Taylor, Jr was his name
His fahter, Henry C Taylor worked at the roundhouse at L&N and retired in 1955
He had several brothers; Carl Ray Taylor, Paul Taylor, JB Taylor, Tommie Taylor. Two sisters, Vada and Verna
